Runes are the replacement for class skills. Each rune is a usable object that -- when activated -- grants a skill-like ability to the character. Each character is limited to a maximum of five runes at a time. Runes usually grant a passive bonus, and some also grant combat skills.

Glyph of Blinding Light This rune grants a bearer the ability to send concentrated bursts of light at opponents in combat, healing the caster for a percentage of the inflicted damage.
